YES. THANK YOU. FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE SAID IT.
I’ve said this so many times, and people always react in one of these ways:
“How can you say that? Of course the Jews were enslaved in Egypt.”
“Well, I don’t know about the specifics, but I definitely believe that the Jews did have a mass-exodus from Egypt. It’s written about in history.”
“You can’t say that, the bible depicts the exodus in great detail.”
No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No.
The Jews were never enslaved in Egypt. It is NOT written about anywhere in history. The bible is not a “historical” account of ANYTHING. Get your fucking facts straight.

The sheer number of people talked about in the story make the whole thing logistically ridiculous.

ATTENTION: TUMBLR USERS IN NORTH CAROLINA
The North Carolina General Assembly has introduced a constitutional amendment to the North Carolina State Constitution which would “provide that marriage between one man and one woman is the only domestic legal union that shall be valid or recognized in this State.”
Voting on the amendment is at the 2012 PRIMARY on MAY 8th, not in November.
Aside from the obvious discriminatory nature of the amendment, it is poorly worded and thought out and would harm the rights of ALL couples.
Remember to vote ‘AGAINST’ this amendment.

Doctor: the word for healer and wise man throughout the universe. We get that word from you, you know. But if you carry on the way you are, what might that word come to mean? To the people of the Gamma Forests, the word “doctor” means “mighty warrior”. How far you’ve come.

I have major problems with the 5th and 6th season, but there are some things I really like about it. One of which is the doctor become too big and becoming feared. And, I always hated season 5 and 6 for what I felt like was forgetting all of the terrible things the doctor was working through in season 1-4 (This is new who obviously), working through the terrors of the time war. I hated that it was just gone in season 5 and 6, but maybe, just maybe it isn’t. Seeing this makes me think that it is at leas possible that this doctor just buries it so deeply that it manifest with him constantly trying to prove himself, to the point where he is becoming a warrior. IDK, I might be way off, maybe Moffat just left all that stuff behind, but just maybe the doctor is acting out in his own way. His own way that also has him constantly trying to hide it. Just my thoughts of the day.

He said  ..”I think the right approach is to accept this horribly created — in the sense of rape — but nevertheless a gift in a very broken way, the gift of human life, and accept what God has given to you.”
